Understand How Loader Payouts Work
Even if you’ve been a Loader for some time, understanding how payments work and how much Loaders make is essential to your growth.
When do I get paid?
Since our customers pay in full and upfront, you can get paid on a weekly basis or anytime thereafter. LoadUp pays Loaders via any Merchant Service of your choice that accepts credit card payments, such as Square, Quickbooks, PayPal, Gig Wage, Stripe, SwipeSimple, etc.
We recommend you choose one without a service fee to ensure you get a full payout.
Do payouts fluctuate?
Payouts vary depending on your service area, item type, item counts, if disassembly or assembly is needed, and the number of flights of stairs.
However, the more jobs you complete per week, the more you get paid. Some hauling teams handle 20 orders in one day while others prefer/are able to take on 2 jobs a day.
The payout you see listed on the Driver App is what you will get paid. This way you can decide if the job pays enough for the effort and radius you’re able to comfortably handle.
❓ Did you know? With just a single vehicle, Loaders can make up to $2,000 per week.
Earn 4 & 5 Star Ratings
On top of regular payouts, LoadUp’s Feedback Incentive Program offers you the potential to earn extra money from every order.
How does the Feedback Incentive Program work?
Once a customer you’ve helped completes the Feedback Survey, you can earn an extra $2 for every 5-star rating and an extra $1 for every 4-star rating.
Keep in mind you will receive the payout after the customer completes the survey. This means there could be a delay from when you complete the order to the incentive payout.
Don’t leave this cash on the table as it adds up over a number of orders.
💸 Since starting the Feedback Incentive Program July 2021, Loaders have received over $54K!
Give them a heads up!
After you’ve loaded their unwanted items into your vehicle, let the customer know they’ll receive an email and text with the survey that only takes about 30-45 seconds to complete.
Increase Customer Tips
On top of the Feedback Incentive Program, Loaders can receive and keep 100% of both online and cash tips from customers.
You can increase the chances you’ll receive either cash or online tips through great customer service experiences. This includes calling when you’re heading their way, arriving within the time window, and removing their items with care.
💰 Since we’ve launched online tipping in August 2021, Loaders have been earned over $37K.
Be Professional & Friendly
You can get both better ratings and customer tips by actively being professional, friendly and courteous to all of your customers.
Show up with a tidy appearance to not only give a good first impression but also to assure clients they are receiving high-quality, professional services.

Take on More Jobs
Focus on completing as many orders as you can through efficient routes and put as few miles on your vehicle and gas on the road as possible.
Accept as many quick and local jobs as you can. Take on the across-town jobs when it’s not busy or if you can plan an efficient route there.
Take full advantage of time windows by recognizing slow street lights or busy traffic hours and plan accordingly.
Sitting in traffic or not having a big enough team to take on large jobs quickly eats up time you could be taking another order.
Grow Your Team Size
You can have multiple trucks and dozens of haulers working with you. While LoadUp supplies the jobs, you get to decide how to split the profits.
Every job requires at least two people so keep that in mind if you decide to expand your fleet.
Investing in the right truck makes an enormous difference on your daily capacity, unload frequency, and potential earnings so research what the best truck to expand your team is.

Brand Your Vehicle
While not required, there is a huge benefit to vehicle branding. Not only does it expose the service to people in your area, therefore increasing the number of jobs you receive, but it builds trust which feeds into great customer experiences and receiving 5-star ratings and tips!
Reduce Expenses
If you’re experiencing constant vehicle issues or higher-than-average costs to keep it rolling, it’s likely time for a new truck. The amount of money and time you will save from not constantly fixing it makes the initial stress of finding a new vehicle worth it.
Also, plan out the best routes to jobs. Better routes mean less gas. With where gas prices are right now, anything you can do to cut the cost down makes a difference in your bottom line.
Purchase General Liability
While it is not required, Loaders can earn more if they have General Liability. Not only because the payout is a little higher, but also in instances of accidental damage.
Hey, it happens! But when it does, you can save yourself and your paycheck the headache by having General Liability in your back pocket.
What’s the Best Overall Strategy to Earn More?
To summarize, focus on providing great customer service while completing the most jobs possible through routes that cut miles, gas and time.
You can do this by growing your team and cutting expenses where you can like investing in fuel-efficient vehicles and protecting yourself from damage by purchasing General Liability.
Take advantage of LoadUp’s Feedback Incentive Program and online customer tipping to start maximizing your earnings as a Loader today!
